i swore i'd never do it, but i did. I've bought tickets to see a show at my least favorite venue, as recorded here, The Orpheum. Damn Damn Damn. Lucky nobody reads this thing, or I'd have a lot to answer for.

But it's THE POGUES! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?

Wait, I can answer that . . . that means that I just bought tickets to go see a band that may or may not arrive with its lead singer in tow, and if the lead singer does actually choose to show up, he may or may not be COMATOSE.

Ah well, the sacrifices we make for life experience.
